Après avoir travaillé 14 ans au Sénégal dans le domaine d'analyse/documentation d'une langue locale et de traduction, je suis retourné avec ma famille en France, où je travaille maintenant comme freelance, régulièrement dans la traduction français <=> allemand et anglais => allemand, occasionnellement aussi anglais => français. Parfaitement bilingue allemand/français, je continue à faire régulièrement des voyages dans différents pays en Afrique francophone (par ex. Cameroun, RCA, Côte d'Ivoire, RD Congo) pour participer à l'animation d'ateliers d'analyse linguistique.
