Description

Born in Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, Wanderley moved to Paris in 2019 after receiving a scholarship to pursue a degree in Fashion Design at IFA Paris (International Fashion Academy).

During his academic years, he began working for the luxury footwear brand Bettina Vermillon. Initially responsible for community management, he was promoted to Brand Image Director within six months. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for visual storytelling and creative direction.

He continued to build on this interest by contributing to the visual identity of renowned brands such as Khaite NY, Dior, and more recently, Repetto—a historic French ballet-shoe house founded in 1947. At Repetto, Wanderley played a key role in revitalizing the brand’s image by introducing fresh creative concepts for photoshoots, modernizing its visual language while honoring its heritage.

Drawing from this extensive experience, he has since launched his career as an independent photographer and art director, collaborating with both publications and brands to craft compelling, visually driven narratives.
