Part of the Uber Payments team, my time is divided between regulatory/compliance topics (60%) and product improvments topics (40%). My main duties consist mostly in :

• Implemented and analyzed A/B tests for payment products at Uber to optimize user experience and increase conversion rates

• Supporting the development and management of transaction monitoring models that meet applicable regulatory requirements and are aligned with best practices

• Helping interpret large amounts of complex data to formulate problem statements, concise conclusions regarding underlying risk dynamics, trends, and opportunities

• Assisting with identifying key risk indicators and metrics, developing and monitoring key metrics, enhancing reporting, and identifying new areas of analytic focus to better capture operational risk

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners within Uber Payments and Uber to understand and address key risk and control challenges

Part of the Claims Analytics team, I'm in charge of defining and conducting analytical/statistical reports and studies for the chief claims officer helping to improve the claims business strategy by :

• Deriving robust indicators related with the claims and actuarial departments

• Modelling of the average cost of claims through econometrics methods to understand inflation's drivers

• Giving operational recommendations based on our quantitative analysis, A/B testing of these recommendations on small samples of clients for future integration

• Creating and automating reportings using R, Python and SQL

• Creating tools for non-technical users to self-serve data

• Managing interns and part time contracts

Worked on a strategy to improve the Leclerc Group's purchasing policy.My tasks consisted mostly in:

• Communicating with the client companies and understanding the nature, demands and problems of their business

• Collecting and analyzing internal data to perform cost optimization
