Working remotely and joining the Market Risk team I was first tasked with migrating the application to Java 11 and upgrade to the latest version of ActivePivot.
As the end of year processing peak approached I undertook the refactoring of core components in order to boost performance while at the same time reducing the application memory footprint.
In addition this my role is also one of mentoring and supporting the team with ActivePivot specific questions as well as implementing core components improving its overall productivity.
For instance I was developed utility classes to help with unit testing ActivePivot post processors and greatly increase code coverage.
