Raphael Moutard

I joined the Alexa Team in early 2017. Our team is in charge of delivering the Shopping Experience for every voice-enabled devices like FireTV, Echo Show, Echo Spot. I am working on the IoT firmware and the Alexa backend service. As part of my role I synchronize teams, plan work conduct sprint planning. I train new hires and run technical interviews for the hiring process. I also mentor 6 engineers on technical skills and career growth. Prior that worked 3 years, in the ByPost WBS team (Warehouse Backend and Services). This team is in charge of delivering highly efficient software and algorithms to ship items to our customers. Focusing on backend systems for the warehouse, our team has to deal with huge amount of data, high level of pressure and some really specific security issues. All those challenges help me to learn a new set of skills. I am also an internal trainer, and I am involved in the interview process for Amazon.
