I bring full SRE practice — automation, CI/CD, observability, incident response, and infrastructure as code — to PostgreSQL, Sybase ASE, and MS SQL Server platforms running on Kubernetes and traditional infrastructure.

What I deliver :

Reliability for stateful systems

SLOs, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and incident response for SQL platforms that cannot afford downtime, especially in regulated healthcare environments.

Kubernetes for data workloads

Production CloudNativePG clusters, including high availability, failover, backup and restore, performance tuning, Helm, operators, manifests, and day-2 operations.

Observability stacks

Grafana, Alloy, Prometheus, and sql_exporter, with custom dashboards, log and metric pipelines, and replacement of legacy monitoring tools such as PRTG.

Database migrations and ETL

Currently leading the migration of 70+ databases to PostgreSQL from Sybase ASE and MS SQL Server sources, covering cross-engine schema and data conversion, validation, and rollback strategy.

Schema-as-code and CI/CD

Liquibase pipelines on Azure DevOps across five environments, from development to production, replacing manual change tickets with reviewable automated releases.

Automation and IaC

Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Java tooling for repeatable DBA and platform workflows.

Operational rigour

Every production data change follows a phased pattern: pre-check, backup, execute, post-check, with a mandatory rollback plan.
