Paulo André Nobrega Marinho

As a Senior Research Engineer, I was working with the improvement of the plant cell’ and bacteria’s Bioprocess with the use of a multiplatform bioreactors and Design of Experiments for media and culture conditions optimization.

As a Research Group Leader in L'Oreal I was in charge of a multicultural team composed of technicians, engineers and senior scientists. At this time we were developing the new technologies of Tissue Engineering that could be applied to the Cosmetics field.

Among the projects that I was directly working it is worth to highlight: Bioprinting, Artificial Skin, Scaffolding, Sebaceous and Pollution models.

Additionally, actively participated with several collaborations with external partners or with our international scientific hubs such as: development and understanding of pigmentation models in Shanghai, skin aging in Singapore, vascularization in Tokyo, bioprinting in USA, France and South Korea.

As a 차장 in Amore Pacific, I lead projects related to breakthrough technologies with Tissue Engineering such as creating the new future skin models as well as developing novel models for hair research.

Additionally, I work as a scientific communicator within the APAC region to promote not only the current models developed by the company but also the unique actives, chemically or biologically derived.
