My name is Noah Swan. I am a trilingual translator specializing in French-to-English and English-to-French translation. I am native in both languages, having been raised by and Irish father and a Belgian mother. I grew up for most of my childhood in Spain, before moving to Paris in my teenage years and, later, Berlin. I studied English Language and Literature for my IGCSE exams and my OIB (Option Internationale du Baccalauréat) before getting a Bachelor’s degree in Business Strategy and Fashion Communication.

As a child I was almost instantly intrigued by writing, linguistics and the cultural mannerisms that go with languages, which I have incorporated in my translations. Indeed, on top of possessing a mastery of both French and English, my knowledge of both languages’ cultural intricacies has enabled me to make my translations all the more precise. As a young adult, developing a rich cultural and literary knowledge of both languages through my endeavors as a multi-disciplinary artist but also through my fashion studies, I have distilled a jack of all trades copy and translation style; I specialize in luxury and lifestyle and am comfortably knowledgeable with anything that touches arts, culture and history.
