Nicolas Rigaudière

I have been a UI Engineer for 10 years and have built my experience with various purposes and company sizes.

My career started when I was still an engineer student at ECE Paris, I was conceiving marketing websites for small businesses and artists. Following that, I have worked for a couple of early stage startups (less than 10 employees) as Lead Frontend Engineer where I was in charge of designing and conceiving the companies products alongside the Heads of Product.

My latest job before being 100% freelance was as an Engineering Manager where I was working with a team of 6 people (frontend/backend engineers).

I have specialised over the years in developing internal tools for businesses. I find it thriving to understand the companies' core needs and purposes, and that is when I can use my engineering background to be a driving force for my clients and help them reach their goals.

My ideal working stack is:

- React/Typescript (+ NextJS)

- API in Typescript or Go

Another part of my life is being a mixing engineer for artists and movies/TV shows. Having my software and hardware engineerings background and having played music for many years, I got into sound engineering quite naturally. I have followed a couple of bands as a live sound engineer but got into working as a mixing engineer pretty fast.

I now work with composers for TV shows on Disney+ and Netflix. I am also a field recorder.
