AirCampus is a French startup that aimed to create a world-class tool that supports students in their everyday purchases.
Working closely with the CPO and the rest of the team, I've planned, developed, tested, and maintained new features on the web and mobile apps. We rewrote the mobile app from scratch in React Native, with the help of a few interns, that I onboarded and managed.

I was the first developer joining the gopro.com web team, that transitioned from an external service provider company to an internalized team in Bucharest, Romania. It was a great multi-cultural experience, the company being split between California, Paris and Romania. The company website was an old Ruby on Rails app that was very resource intensive, and we migrated it to a mix of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for content pages, and Node / React for more dynamic ones. We worked closely with the marketing, shop and QA team, especially during the holiday season were the new models of camera were released. The site was localized in several languages, has to be mobile first, fast and accept traffic spikes during product launches, without leaking assets, which proved challenging. We did on-call rotation between the US and Europe to ensure a continuity of service. We built a robust CI/CD pipeline on CircleCI that let us quickly and safely deploy features.
