Responsibilities :

• Responsible of the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of full electrical distribution system of ITER project. This system is connected to the French HV network at 400kV.

• ITER electrical network is composed of:

• 7 bays in 400kV substation for more than 1GVA installed power

• More than 40 feeders at 66kV

• 80 feeders at 22kV for industrial network distribution

• Around 20 MV/LV substations all around the site

• 6 MV substations for 6.6kV motors power supplies

• Interfaces management with more than 10000 connection points

• ITER is a nuclear project. I have also the responsibility of Emergency power distribution with:

• 4 Diesels qualified for extreme conditions

• UPS and DC distribution with batteries

• Design according RCC-E, including segregation and separation rules

• Responsible for Operation & Maintenance team. Maintenance plans and maintenance strategy is part of the responsibilities, according to reliability and availability of the different electrical systems (based of RAMI and FMECA analysis)

• Management of more than 15 people in an international environment. Staff is coming from more than 10 different countries, including Asian (China, South Korea, India), European (Italian, Spanish, German, etc..), Russian and American.

Responsible for new electrical studies and cable management system for TORE SUPRA Facility. Involved in EFDA tasks related to ITER preliminary design.
