• Expertise in the various phenomena of damage and defectology of materials that are mainly in stainless steels

• Development of the new manufacturing and/or surface treatment processes in collaboration with the R&D department

• Participation in R&D projects for the development of new products or for the replacement of materials with better mechanical properties.

• Collaboration with the various workshops to solve technical problems related to the operation of the different parts and the metallurgical behavior of the material (the harmfulness of the grinding process on some stainless steels in contact with the environment, identification of different elaboration processes, Initiation of a corrosion test program to study the de-risking of a new coating process…) .

• Collaboration with the societies to solve problems related to corrosion,cracking of (irradiated) parts returned from the plant.

• Study corrosion damage, stress corrosion cracking of nickel base alloy parts : Evaluation of the role of impurities present in the secondary side sludge on the corrosion and stress corrosion damage of steam generator tubes of pressurized water reactor

• Development of tests to illustrate a mechanism of metallurgical damage related to the complexe chemistry in the secondary circuit and the presence of the sequestration phenomenon : ODSCC damage mechanism in the presence of lead.

• Participation in conferences or comunities such as EUROCORR and COR-NET : Presentation of the results of the thesis.
