• Lead, inspire and develop colleagues to instil a strategic procurement culture, embed best practices and promote compliance with all codes, policies, processes, procedures

• Proactively and dynamically contribute to the Procurement Excellence Roadmap (development and delivery to accelerate procurement maturity).

• Be the lead market expert for all procurement optimisation activities

• Lead a 3-year category vision/strategy/plan/transformation for best spend value/ROI, that delivers strategic priorities whilst balancing sustainability, risk, quality, operational, technical, legal & financial requirements and objectives.

• Accountable for delivery of budgeted procurement savings targets

• Embed strategic supplier relationship management and supplier performance management across the team to drive operational excellence (e.g. business continuity)

• Ensure integration of procurement activities with business and be a real business partner to the management

• Integrate the value from the Global procurement actions into local actions and targets and support and lead both local and global process changes

• Work closely with the management team and other functions, especially with sales, in order to identify TCO and value creation opportunities.

• Search for continuous improvement opportunities, together with Operations, Functions, suppliers and the purchasing team.
