Eddy Zagabe

I’m Eddy, a 29 years old software engineer. Regarding my work experience, I was originally specialized in iOS applications development. Many years ago, I rapidly redirected my focus to the low-level side of things, the backend software development and operation. I intended to learn the fundamentals of how a complex computer system works as a single and collective unit to understand the underlying layers of abstraction. As well as how to model the different parts to fit a business and the stakeholder requirements using a variety of tools. I believe that these systems are valuable instruments to extend our perception to solve greater problems.

I've had applied my expertise, in small to large-scale companies, to different domains such as the cloud industry, telemetry, transport, emailing marketing, and blockchain using centralized and decentralized systems.

My contribution was based around the architecture and design of robust API services in synchronous and asynchronous environments, how to model comprehensive entities by interacting with domain experts, engineers, data scientists, and analysts, understanding database management systems to optimize the storage and manipulation of data at large scale, implement business and technical metrics to monitor the behavior of computer systems accurately, reviewing processes to learn from and help my teammate deploy better modifications, intensive use of testing to make sure that the business logic respects the specifications and many more...

I was also heavily involved in developing useful tools and processes for the product developers to help them add value and focus on the business.
