Support the organization by providing assistance with different tracks for Requests for Information (RFI)
processes, resulting in improved RFI quality and reduced workload for the other IT Buyers. This included:
- Collaborating with the IT department to identify qualified vendors with expertise aligned with our
specific needs. During the RFI phase, I facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions between IT stakeholders
and potential vendors, ensuring clear communication and a deeper understanding of requirements.
- Contributing to the creation and preparation of clear, concise, and high-quality RFI documents that
met both procurement best practices and technical/functional requirements. I leveraged my
understanding of different topics within IT Procurement to ensure the documents captured all
essential information.
- Proactively engaging with suppliers to maximize participation in the RFI process. This included
developing targeted communication strategies, soliciting detailed responses, and coordinating
product demonstrations, workshops, and others to gather in-depth information about vendor
capabilities
