My interest in bringing people together started with volunteering at the Red Cross, where I took part in outreach missions, first-aid support, and local solidarity campaigns — work that taught me the value of showing up for others and staying calm under pressure. That same drive to organize and connect people led me to take on the role of Event Coordinator & Communications Officer at AUOG, where I handle everything from attendee registrations and partner relations to logistics, program design, and digital promotion. I manage the full lifecycle of an event: coordinating emails and sign-ups, setting up rooms and equipment, designing the program, running email campaigns, creating Instagram content to boost visibility, and maintaining the website's registration system. Across both experiences, I've built a practical skill set that spans communication, logistics, and digital marketing — always with the same goal: making sure people feel welcomed and well-organized events run smoothly.
