Andrew Munuwa

Andrew Munuwa is a Tanzanian visual storyteller, creative director, and community builder. He is the Founder and Creative Director of Dar Foto Festival, where he leads the festival’s vision, curates exhibitions and workshops, manages partnerships, and oversees operations. As Pichastock’s Resident Photographer for Tanzania, Andrew engages the local photography community through photowalks, workshops, and mentorship, amplifying authentic African storytelling.

With experience as a Media Associate at CityLab Dar es Salaam, he produced documentary films and photography to support urban research studies. Previously, he worked as a Junior Graphic Designer at Platinum Credit Microfinance, managing social media, branding, and marketing campaigns.

Andrew’s expertise spans photography, videography, graphic design, content creation, and creative direction, making him a versatile professional committed to elevating visual narratives and fostering creative communities across Tanzania.
