Through my expertise, guidance, and project management skills, I help organizations to assess, design, and implement security solutions that are tailored to their specific needs and challenges. I also provide critical insights into their security posture by calculating and presenting Cyber Security KPIs, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in their security programs.

As a Head Of Cyber Defense, I was in charge of leading a team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers in a Security Operations Center (SOC), which was responsible for monitoring and responding to cybersecurity threats for my organization. My primary duties and achievements include:

- Managing a team of cybersecurity professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management, and setting operational objectives

- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for the SOC to ensure consistent and effective monitoring and response to security incidents

- Monitoring network and system activity for suspicious behavior and responding to security incidents in real-time

- Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies

- Collaborating with other IT teams and business units to ensure the integration of security measures into all IT systems and processes

- Conducting post-incident reviews and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and learning

- Communicating with executive leadership and the board of directors on cybersecurity risks and the effectiveness of the SOC's operations

- Staying up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and security technologies to ensure my team is always equipped with the most effective tools and techniques. My work as a Head Of Cyber Defense was focused on ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of my organization's data and IT infrastructure. Through my leadership and the hard work of my team, we were able to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats in a timely and effective manner, thereby protecting Webhelp Group's critical assets from damage and loss.

As a Cyber Security Engineer, I was responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect my organization's computer networks and systems from cyber attacks. My responsibilities included:

- Conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies

- Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Deploying and configuring security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners, SIEM, WAF, and many others

- Monitoring network and system activity for suspicious behavior and responding to security incidents

- Conducting security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization

- Collaborating with other IT teams and business units to ensure the integration of security measures into all IT systems and processes.
